Comment: Very informative. I needed this class to better empathize with my patients and to focus on their functional goals not just the goals set by the PT.

Comment: My computer speakers may not be very good yet I found her voice to be a bit high and harsh for my hearing. She was very engaged in the topic and material presented.

Comment: This course should be included in ALL PT school curriculums. There are a world of new grads out there that have all of the "book skills" and can quote scientific research all day but miss the ticket on relating to the patients and building a rapport. I am an "oldie" and graduated in 1990 but it hurts my soul to see so many coming out wanting the paycheck but so wrapped up in only putting out the minimum work asked. Building rapport with patients is what sets PTs apart from doctors who spend only a short amount of time. The psychological component of recovery is so important to the physical recovery. THANK YOU for this course. I am thinking of making it a requirement for students who do internships at our clinic.

I was left thinking about my patients and how to improve the therapeutic alliance I have with them. Thank you for an empowering educational course and list of resources.
